This intensive (online) introductory landscape design course will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to create a great-looking garden that is healthier for people and the environment. The comprehensive curriculum covers a range of topics, including soils, water, plants, and landscape materials. This is a basic garden design and practical class on how to garden and care for sites in a way that is beneficial to the environment. Each week there will be homework that entails evaluating and designing your own space. This class is based on the principles of the "Sustainable Sites Initiative", the nation's first rating system for sustainable landscapes.

Dates and times for this class have been rescheduled to Wednesdays starting March 3 through March 24 from 5pm to 9pm.
There will also be a series of classes held on Sunday afternoons starting April 11 through May 3 from 1pm to 5pm.
